Report an ad

Keeping ads safe for users is a top priority for Google, and we take violations of our policies seriously. If you think an ad violates Google’s policies, you can report it. Reporting an ad doesn't block that ad. Learn more about how to Block an ad.

When you report an ad, you may be asked to give additional details about why you think the ad violates our policies. For example, if you think an ad is phishing, you can provide the name of the site that the ad is impersonating.

If you're not signed in to your Google Account when you report an ad, you’ll need to enter your email address.

About our review process

After you report an ad, you’ll get an email confirming that we’ve received your report. The ad will be reviewed by Google’s Trust & Safety team to check if it violates any of our policies. When we find an ad that breaks our rules or the law, we’ll take action. Egregious or repeat violations can lead to an advertiser’s account being suspended, which means they can no longer run ads through Google. Learn more About our review process.
